Since we have so many talented people in 3d, I was wondering if anyone was interested on working on a game mod. I was thinking of maybe a totally new game using maybe the quake 3 engine, unreal or maybe something else. Personally I think quake 3 is a bit more mod friendly than most of the stuff out there but it is also showing it's age. Anyways, for this project we would need maps (levels), character models, textures, animation for character models, and sound fx. That is a lot of stuff so we'd probably start small and try to get something working, then we'd simply build on that. Of course this mod would be free to the public and none of us would be getting paid for the work we produce. But we can always put our work on our own demo reels and we will also come away with some experience on a game related project. So, what do you think?
