Note sure if this is really much in-game stuff or pre-rendered cinematics. But either way, it's kinda purtty and makes me excited about what the XBox 2 might be able to do.

*sings*
Orc heads on ro-bots, and guns held by sta-tues, collese-ums, secret bases, en-e-mies com-ing atch-you.
Rock-et ships flying with-out-any-wings, these are a few of my fav-or-ite things...

:D looks awesome. The main character looks great except for those iron-giant-like, bug eyes. But I simply love the style as a whole of the game.

Andrew: Nice little tune. Now make an mp3 of it and post it here. ;)

The soldiers in Hellboy also have the same 'Mignola' look... but I thought the cinematics were great.

Hmm, no time for an MP3... How about some extra screenies instead?

Adam, I thought you were a ps2 guy.

I am. I own a PS2; I'd get an XBox if there were anything worth playing on that platform. Right now, I just think the quality of games on the PS2 is higher.

But, good 3D is good 3D; and that game (or at least its cinematic) had a nice sense of style. If the XBox 2 has enough GOOD games, I might pick one up.

In principle, I try to avoid all things Microsh*t.

what I find really sad, is how a game (Pontifex) that can fit on a floppy that was released not too long ago got editors choice award from firingsquad, and got rave reviews on many other sites. Its a stick figure game where you build bridges and test there resistance. I mean, it took a couple of months to make and by god it got better publicity than some games which cost millions and take months to make..... most of the time its function over graphics, allways has been for games, I think allways will be.

Yeah my bias of Microsoft kept me from getting an xbox for a while, but I was always playing my bro's xbox more than my ps2. I eventually gave in and traded in. Adam, what games are you playing on your ps2 anyways?

Just finished off Ratchet & Clank: Up your Aresenal. I plan to tackle Jak3 over the holidays.

So do you play platformers primarily?

Professor Watkins

I don't play anything primarily - too busy. I played R&C over Thanksgiving break, and will tackle Jak3 for Christmas. I play UT2004 on Friday nights. and that's about it. So I'm not sure what i play most of. I'm really not an expert on game play.....I usually get what I want from watching the cinematics - I'm interested in the animation.

..I usually get what I want from watching the cinematics - I'm interested in the animation.

Then, should I assume, that you play every final fantasy game?

Nope....don't play any of them. Don't need to play the game to see the cinematics.
